Beginning Saturday, May 26th, join us in the lobby every Saturday night immediately following the evening’s performance of ELEPHANT’S GRAVEYARD for a brief set of original music by our amazing guest musicians The New Switcheroo. Grab a seat and a frosty beverage as you rock out to some downhome tunes from your new favorite band. We’ll be there and we hope you will too!

“And did I mention the soundtrack? The band, The New Switcheroo, adds a bluegrass twang and homespun harmonies to the memory play. They lighten or darken the mood depending on the theatrics. They are the perfect accompaniment for an Elephant’s Graveyard.”
- Katy Walsh, Chicago Theatre Beat (4 stars, Highly Recommended)

“The play is accompanied by a score of dark, plucky country music, sounding like Bluegrass but evoking the southern rebelliousness of Rockabilly. The New Switcheroo is performing some of the best music on a Chicago theatre stage right now, in a musical or a straight play, and this heated, unnerving production would not be quite the same without it.”
- Johnny Oleksinski, Podunk Critic

“(James) Palmer adds a six-piece folk band, The New Switcheroo, whose renditions of Jonathan Guillen’s indelible original score augment the vivid ensemble. …by the time his actors, the band and Brant’s words combine to conjure the heartbreaking climax, you could swear there was an elephant in the room.”
- Kris Vire, Time Out Chicago (4 stars)
